Tubepress: Pull Videos with Keywords or Playlist
Fullsized version ow.ly Wordpress and Tubepress are the dynamic duo when it comes to coupling videos with your blog. Oh sure, you can embed a video into a post without Tubepress. In fact, you can go crazy and embed three or four! But for professional looking gallery style videos all related to a single topic and all the built in functionality like auto play, borders on each video or playing each within the same space — then you really want to go get Tubepress. With Tubepress, you set a few options (covered in a different video) and add a little snippet of code to your post, and Bam! You have a visitor magnet. A gallery of videos your readers can see, all collected into one place. Your place. There are two really cool (and in my opinion important) options for collecting those videos together Keyword and Playlist. Tubepress Keyword List Option: You can use the shortcode to insert the gallery directly into a page or post based on keywords. Just separate your keywords by commas and off you go. Hundreds, even thousands of videos will be returned and displayed in your page or post. The standard shortcode for this is shown below. [tubepress mode="tag" tagValue="keyword1, keyword2"] Tubepress Playlist Option: The second, and more important (again, in my humble opinion) method is to use the Playlist option.
